Michele Amendola, official tourist guide of Amalfi, in Campania, one of most amazing regions in Italy!

Hello guys! I am Michele Amendola, a licensed tour guide for the Campania Region – Italy.

I would be delighted to show you around my wonderful Amalfi Coast, included in the World Heritage List of UNESCO since 1997.

I can show you its hidden treasures such as atmospheric alleys and squares, hidden gardens, churches and cloisters, typical shops and the quirky details that make a tour memorable, enjoying the history, magic and anecdotes, which still echo through the magnificent towns of Positano, Amalfi and Ravello.

My Walking Tours around the Amalfi Coast are not all I do, we can also explore the best Campania has to offer, and the great news is that in this tourist season I will be keeping the prices the same as the last one.

If you like hiking or trekking, I can also offer a number of astonishing hiking tours,  to the Valley of the Mills in Amalfi, along the Path of Gods to Positano, among the lemon gardens of the old Via Maestra dei Villaggi, to say a few.

Well, my winter job is also to take care of my terraced lemon groves, vegetables garden and vineyards, growing and overlooking the bay of Amalfi, they are so lucky! So let me suggest you the best places to have really good local food and free tasting of fine home-made limoncello! Gastronomy is an integral part of our culture.

In wintertime I also enjoy attending seminars, art courses and constantly researching to ensure my knowledge is up to date. After my University degree in English language, I have the privilege, since 1994, of being a member of the Amalfi Center of History and Culture, taking part for example to the publication of the guide-book “In and around Amalfi. Walking tours through the best of a World Heritage Site”, printed on July 2016.
